We call ourselves the Catholic community in Isleworth because we are a distinct body of people living in the locality who share certain religious beliefs and practices.
During the Mass, there is a poignant moment when we to turn our neighbour, take their hand and say “Peace be with you”.
It may be the same face each week or an unfamiliar face but there is always a warm glow in the expression and the moment is joyous. We try to extend this spirit of openness, friendship and peace to the wider community and hope we are perceived in this way.
Religion apart we are immersed in the wider community in all its diversity. We do not hold ourselves aloof but seek to participate in every way possible in civic and social affairs.
