Jeremy was born with severe disabilities. His parents always knew he would not live to adulthood, but they wanted him to have as normal a childhood as possible. When it came to school, as there were no special schools in his area he went to the school his brother and sister attended.

A World Without Suffering…Wonderful
One of the great questions of faith and indeed life itself, is the question of suffering. Why? Why do we suffer? How can God allow suffering?
Many people who question God’s existence point to his apparent failure to “jump in and intervene when things go wrong.” But what would happen if he did this, what would life be like?

Being with Jesus?
I was sitting in a Church yesterday; they were having exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. I must confess, I have always had a particularly soft spot for this devotion. For the simple reason, that some of my first experiences of having a real sense of the Loving presence of Jesus were during the silence of exposition. Just sitting, looking, listening, resting and talking to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. So simple, but so profound…being with Jesus.
